Hack4Water aims to solve SA's water crisis

Johannesburg - The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) s concluding a two-day exhibition of the Hack4Water initiative aimed at preserving water resources in the country.
Hack4Water is a government initiative, that has joined forces with Open Government Partnership to invite civil society to submit innovative solutions to address the country's water challenges.
According to its website, the project will continue to accept entries until the 6th of May.

Cape Town - Expectations are high that Minister of Finance Pravin Gordhan's budget speech will set South Africa on an even keel for what's predicted to be a rocky financial year ahead.

Carrying the expectations of the public to provide stability for the economy and get government's financial affairs in order, Mr. Gordhan is expected to increase tax and slash state expenditure.

In  2014, the Minister was fired from the role of Finance Minister and President Jacob Zuma replaced him with Nhlanhla Nene.
