Theatre: West Side Story is headed to Jozi

Johannesburg - The Grand-scale musical, West Side Story is headed to the Mandela Theatre soon.
Yesterday, The Fugard Theatre company announced that after an incredible response in Cape Town, it would be bringing the show to the city of gold.
Dates for the performances are set for 9 August to 18 September 2016.
The company posted on its YouTube page that bookings would open on Tuesday and that early-bird discounts were available.
It said tickets were only available through Computicket.

The documentary -- Glory Game -- premiered at Monte Casino last night. It tells the story of Mr. Van Der Westhuizen's career in rugby, his marriage to Amor Vitone and his life-changing diagnosis of Motor Neuron Disease (MND).
Director of the doccie, Odette Schwegler, said after the screening that the film took two years to make, including 9 months of filming with the sportsman in various parts of the world.

Trey Songz is coming to SA!

Johannesburg - International music sensation Trey Songz will be hitting our shores for two concerts in August.

This morning, Elite Concerts confirmed Songz' tour of South Africa, saying the RnB singer would be performing in Durban and Johannesburg during the 8th and 9th of August.

They said some of SA's top local acts were also included in the lineup, but that more details would be revealed closer to the time. 

Tickets have already gone on sale and are expected to cost between R600 and one thousand rand.
